Dundee asked what it was that I wanted.  Here it is.
 
 
I want a large forge.
I want to sell clothes there
    and furniture
    and armor
    and other nifty things I find when I'm out hunting.
I want it to be south of Skara Brae.
I want it to be close to Skara Brae because that is where I spend my time when I'm not adventuring.
I also want it there because Solaria is making a community dedicated to the principle of Beauty.  Beauty.  Fashion.  It just fits.
I want people to visit the shop that I will call Best Dressed Britannian. I want to make clothes for fashion shows.
I want them not to steal the lamp oil I will leave to light the lamps when I'm not there.
I want people to turn the lamps off when they leave, so as to not burn fuel unnecessarily.
I want a message board inside the shop so that Mairi can post her Office Hours.
I want the message board also to serve as a place where people might ask to make special appointments, if they are unable to be around during Mairi's Office Hours.
I want a lamp post outside the shop so people don't trip and fall on the steps and sue me.
I want people to come see Mairi during her office hours and say, "This is who I am.  This is what I do.  Please tailor an outfit for my
personality/profession."
I want folks to buy nice outfits and be glad that they aren't wearing TrU3bL4cK and n30n Gr33N any more.
I want blacksmiths to be able to make colored armor so that I can really have fun making adventurer outfits, and not just town-outfits, or be concerned that whatever I colors I choose have to look good with silver. I want a Fancy Skirt that is the Fancy Dress with the top cut off. I want for colors used on Fancy Dresses to look the same as they do on cloaks, instead of being one shade lighter.
I want a Fancy Cloak that has colored trim.
I want clothing other than kilts to come in plaid.
I want kilts to be pleated.
I want the female kilt to be longer so that it covers the bottom of my chain armor like it does on men.  (why does 'female clothing' automatically equal 'show cleavage' or 'skimpier than male clothing' in this game?) I want brown leather boots that fit my skin, instead of the big clunky ones we have now.
I want sandals to come in different colors like green, navy, black, and silver.
I want it not to look like I am wearing a Tuxedo from the 70s when I wear a Fancy Dress.
I want a Fancier Shirt that looks like the Plain Dress top but has trim around the cuffs and neck.
I want the tunic and surcoat to layer correctly on the paper doll. I want to be able to color the trim on Fancy Clothes any color I want. I want to be able to make doublets.
I want to be able to make hats.
I want pants that don't look like belly-dancer pants.
 
And I want people to get along.
 
 
Is that so much to ask?
